For our community, we happily give back a little bit of what we have learnt and earned. We enjoy games and family days with our clients and families to foster a sense of belonging and shared purpose. Also, we organize various social and charitable events for the less fortunate. As good corporate citizens, we gladly participate in many environmental awareness campaigns and recycling programmes.

For our clients, we publish and circulate legal newsletters, electronic legal alerts and case updates to help them make better commercial decisions. Upon request, we conduct seminars and workshops which are client specific to demonstrate that we care enough to treat each client as an individual. We also conduct and participate in professional development outside the field of law in areas that can add value to our service for our clients.

For our team members, we are proud that our deeply entrenched philosophy of caring has recently been recognised internationally. JHJ is the first legal firm in the history of the Action Coach organisation, established in 23 countries with over a million participants, to win the Action Coach Team Award 2009. This award salutes our efforts for continuous improvements and high employee satisfaction. For the budding lawyer, we invite law graduates to do their pupilage and attachment with us. Foreign law students who want to learn about the Malaysian legal system and the intricate workings of Malaysian courts have interned with us, some for over a year and more. Our lawyers participate in continuing legal education programmes including revision of material and have on occasions, judged moot trials and competitions between law students. We pride ourselves on shaping and grooming new, dynamic generation of future lawyers.
